The Franklin Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The Franklin—Boise’s first affordable housing land trust project—celebrated its grand opening with 205 apartments, supportive housing through Our Path Home, and a new Giraffe Laugh childcare center.

J. Fisher Companies, City of Boise leaders, and Boise residents gathered on Wednesday, October 23rd, 2024 to celebrate the opening of The Franklin, the city’s first affordable housing land trust project. 

Located at the corner of Franklin and Orchard Ave, The Franklin is comprised 205 apartment units, including 20 dedicated to Our Path Home. 

The Franklin will also be home to a new childcare facility through Giraffe Laugh, located adjacent to Franklin Park.
